Paris Day 3

Again the next morning, we all had to wake up early for the following adventures planned. This time the group is smaller as the previous night, half the group went back early as they were tired (at only 7pm?) and went back to the hotel to rest/sleep. Since they did not manage to go to Sacre Coeur, they decided to go in the morning instead. Whereas for me and Joe on the other hand, we decided to go to  Champs-Élysées. Chris on the other hand, decided to go to Sacre Coeur again. No clue why, but oh well.

Before starting our day, it would not be perfect without a hearty and fulfilling breakfast right? I've been eating like croissants and pain au chocolats almost every morning it seems... LoL.

La Croque Madame, oh so sinful and delicious!
See the thick layer of ham? And the cheese on top? And the egg? Oh my!

We arrived to Champs-Élysées and quickly went to search for the nearest toilet for Mezah as she wasn't feeling well and in need to vomit. Seriously, it's really difficult to find public toilets all around France. It's like they really discourage you to drink water lol. Later on, we went to do some mini camwhore at the L'arc de Triomphe.

Crazy us, standing in the middle of the road just to get better picture :P.

The ever famous Louis Vuitton in Champs-Élysées. I personally find the one in NewYork looks better.

We did some window shopping there and walked in several boutiques to see their price. It's not exactly that cheap anyway. The Sephora there is like ginormous as well. The girls went crazy in there lol. After much walking, wasting our time waiting for the rest of the group to meet us here, we realized it's taking them too long. We have already planned with the other group to meet at  Champs-Élysées to continue our plans. Joe has already informed mostly everyone and not just on time but constantly reminding them about our meeting point. But in the end, there was some drama. None of them met us at the meeting time. We were obviously pissed, well for me and Joe for the very least. The other girls wouldn't know much as they were on a crazy shopping spree. We had been wasting our precious time walking blindly waiting for them and if we hadn't call them to ask on their whereabouts, they would not have informed us? Some denied saying that Joe stated to go our own way which is somehow a self created story. I mean it's fine if you want to go elsewhere on your own but at least have the decency or courtesy to call and inform? Selfish much.

Immediately after the call, we decided to leave and head elsewhere. But of course before leaving Champs-Élysées, we have to visit Laduree! :D

Finally, I get to see and enter Laduree for the first time! :D

Next on our to go list was to Aoki Sadaharu, a famous Japanese patisserie in Paris. We took the metro to Pasteur station and opened our map to find out the way. We went the wrong direction firstly and guess what? We found the legendary Pierre Herme! Excited as always when I see desserts, quickly entered to buy those delicate yummy treats! Got myself 7 assorted flavours of Pierre Herme's signature macarons, his ever famous Ispahan petit gateau, Passionfruit Mille Feuille, and his signature Plaisir Sucre, pain au chocolat and Ispahan croissants. Total bill, 36 Euros (RM144). @___@.

Right after Pierre Herme, we got right on the correct route to find Aoki Sadaharu. It was really a long way there =_=. Despite the long walk there, we saw many interesting stuffs. Walking in Paris in the nice winter weather somehow does not make you tired.

Photography was not allowed but I die die still want to snap photo. Hahaha, it's pretty obvious that my trying-to-secretly-snap-photo skills sucks. The cakes looks so lovely isn't it? :D

Right after we bought finish our stuff, we bumped into Chris, Hana and Nadiah. Since we're going our own way, and were still quite pissed, we just didn't want to wait for them and just walk off. We found a small brasserie nearby and had a short break with some snacks. I ordered the Omelette du fromage and Joe had some chicken gallatine. The portion was like really huge and we paid a fair price for it.

Up next, we wanted to visit Catacombes. Apparently it's a famous underground place where bones are kept there. Scary! Sadly it was closed as the air conditioning system was faulty. Wasted our expensive metro ticket saje.

So we opened our travel map and see where else we could go that is near from Catacombes. We saw the Pantheon and decided to head there instead. A bonus was that it was a walking distance towards the Louvre as we wanted to visit there last.

The Pantheon looking so majestic with its architectural design!

We sat down by staircase infront of the Pantheon and enjoyed the scenery around us. It was really beautiful as the sun was setting down and it was only close to 5pm.

We then decided to start back our journey to walk to the Louvre. Halfway walking along the beautiful streets of Paris, I saw this waffle stall with the smell calling me to buy them. There were so many flavours to choose from!! We bought the chocolate and raspberry waffle. It was so good as it was hot and eating it while walking in the cold weather was just perfecto~

Finally, reaching the Louvre! It was another majestic place to visit in France. The area was like super huge and when we walked in, we were wondering where was the entrance and all and we were camwhoring all the way haha.

Finally, near the entrance to the museum.

I do not know how to fully describe the whole museum as there's just so much to talk about it. To cut it short, it's really huge and spectacular to the extent where you need minimum of 6 hours (if you are not really a museum person) to walk finish the entire museum and it's really beautiful as there are 4 main exhibition halls. We only managed to walk like a quarter of a quarter of the entire museum and it took us like 3hours. We started off with the ancient Rome sculpture area. Everything in there was amazing. It looked so modern, clean, spacious and calm. Definitely the best museum I've visited in the 2 decades of my life.

Later on, we moved on to seeing Napoleon's apartment. We were all so amazed with the design and decor of the exhibition room. It was so grand and majestic as well!

We were all super tired after the crazy long walk in the museum and headed back to the hotel. When we arrived back, we realized that we've not had dinner and we cooked Maggi and have a short gossip session with Mezah and Amrita lol. Finally, to end the lovely day in Paris before going to Toulouse the following day, we had our Pierre Herme. The moment we opened the box, it was a disaster! Well, we had been walking around Paris for almost the whole day. At least the legendary Ispahan still survived.

Aoki Sadaharu cakes. We decided to keep it and bring it to Toulouse to savor! Amazingly, we do not have to keep it in the fridge as the weather's just right to keep it cold nicely xD.
